This mechanical thickness tracing system from ARMINIUS^® provides the answer when working with CNC machines.

While the sanding disk performs a program-controlled sanding movement along the contour of the workpiece edge, a tracing bell continuously feels the thickness of the workpiece surface.

When the tracing probe performs a height movement, the sanding tool is automatically set to the currently applicable actual workpiece thickness. In this way, a soft, mark-free transition between the profile and the surface is created along the entire edge contour.

The tool and tracing probe are fitted with a common ISO shaft, permitting them to be accommodated in the tool changer of any CNC machine.
