Sanding raised panels 3x3 qualities for 3x3 performance requirements
It is absolutely essential for raised panels to be sanded. No matter whether solid wood, veneered or MDF core. Using the Arminius SC system, a ready to finish (RTF) quality sanded finish is guaranteed. With multiple (2-3 fold) graduated abrasive grain sizes, a grain-neutral sanding pattern is achieved in both the longitudinal and end grain.
Sand profiles - without restrictions in terms of dimensions or the degree of profile complexity
- with rotating tools available in practically any commonly occurring diameter, bore and or changeover shank system
Tooling systems - in versions for automatic machines in throughfeed or cyclical operation
- production applications involving high piece numbers and throughfeed lengths
- for minimal batch sizes and or only occasional use
- for manually operated machines
High-grade abrasive on a cloth backing, pre-fabricated and firmly bonded to a dimensionally elastic and ultra-precision profiled plastic carrier guarantee uniform removal of roughness and shaper marks on the wood surface, resulting in an evenly proportioned finish over spring and autumn wood, i.e. soft and hard annual rings.
3 x 3 qualities for 3 x 3 performance requirements: For fitting with individual segments capable of working with three different basic systems:
- B1: with fully profiled basic profile rubber
- B2: with Unibase basic profile rubber
- B3: without basic profile rubber
For fitting with 3 abrasive qualities:
- A1: Opticover
- A2: Softblend
- A3: Easyblend
A long abrasive service life is just one of the outstanding properties. Provided the set chip removal rates are suitable for the size of abrasive grain used, and the tolerance between the shaped contour and the profile measurements of the sanding tool lie with +/-0.1 mm, each abrasive backing with a diameter range of 120 mm and higher is capable of achieving a life of between 5.000 and over 8.000 running metres.
